João Almeida
João is a Director in H.I.G.’s London office where he focuses on investments across a range of industries, including TMT and Healthcare.
Prior to joining H.I.G., João worked at AMERRA Capital and Lead Edge Capital, both US based private equity firms. João started his career at Bain & Company, where he spent most of his time helping Private Equity firms with commercial due diligence and post-acquisition work.
João holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a MSc in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior Tecnico.
Luciano Anzanello
Luciano Anzanello is a Principal in our Milan office. Prior to joining H.I.G., Luciano spent more than twelve years in the mergers and acquisitions industry, both as advisor and investor.
As partner at Atlantis Partners in Milan, the leading independent institutional investment firm focused on Italian mid-size companies in Special Situations, Luciano focused on investments in Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Media and Green Energy companies.
Before that, Luciano was a manager with H&C in Milan, an industrial family office, where he completed several investments in a broad range of sectors and situations, including start-ups, buyouts and restructurings. Previously, Luciano worked in Camuzzi Group, a multinational utility company.
Luciano graduated in Economy of International Commerce and Currency Market from University of Trieste.
Antoine Baudesson
Antoine Baudesson, Principal, Paris. Prior to joining H.I.G., Antoine worked as an Investment Manager in the private equity arm of the Quilvest Group in London and in Paris, where he notably participated in the analysis, structuring and monitoring of various direct transactions in Europe, the Middle-East and Mexico. He was also involved in the Fund of Funds activity of the Quilvest Group with coverage of the French territory.
Antoine graduated with an MSc from HEC, Paris and with a CEMS Master in International Management from the Copenhagen Business School.
Jaime Bergel
Jaime Bergel, Managing Director, Spain. Prior to joining H.I.G., Jaime was the Founder and Chairman of Gala Capital, a private equity firm named as a "top three Private Equity house in Spain" by Private Equity Investor Magazine.
Prior to founding Gala Capital in 2004, Jaime was Country Chairman of Merrill Lynch for Spain and Portugal and headed the largest investment banking operation and broker-dealer in the Iberian Peninsula with over 300 professionals. Before Merrill Lynch, he was a Managing Director in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs. Jaime has served on several Boards of public and non-public companies, including the Madrid Stock Exchange, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Bacardi Limited.
Jaime received an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas.
Ishan Bharadwaj
Ishan is a Director in H.I.G. Capital’s London office and member of the European Middle Market LBO team, where he focuses on investments across a range of industries and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Ishan worked at Terra Firma Capital Partners with 10 years of private equity experience across a broad range of industries including business services and consumer.
Ishan holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Warwick University.
Wolfgang Biedermann
Wolfgang Biedermann ist Executive Managing Director und Head of Europe Buyouts, und leitet das operative Private Equity Geschäft von H.I.G. in Europa. Herr Biedermann war zuvor CEO und Gesellschafter der Pricap Venture Partners AG, eine von ihm im Jahr 2000 mit gegründete deutsche Investmentfirma, die sich auf Wachstumskapitalinvestitionen spezialisiert hat.
Davor arbeitete er als Geschäftsführer der Thomas J.C. Matzen GmbH und Investmentprofessional bei Cinven und Schroders (heute Permira) über 10 Jahre im Bereich kleiner und mittelständischer Buyouts. Seine berufliche Laufbahn startete er bei The Boston Consulting Group in Deutschland.
Herr Biedermann hat an der ESCP-EAP Europäische Wirtschaftshochschule Paris, Oxford, Berlin studiert und einen M.B.A an der Harvard Business School erworben. Neben Deutsch spricht er fließend Englisch, Italienisch und Französisch.
Dominik Böhm
Dominik is a Principal in H.I.G. Europe’s Hamburg office, where he focuses on LBO and growth equity investments, in particular in the TMT and industrials sectors. Dominik is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and represents H.I.G. on the board of several portfolio companies.
Prior to joining H.I.G., he worked for six years with McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager. As part of the Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Restructuring Practice he advised various corporates and medium-sized companies and supported several M&A transactions. Before McKinsey & Company, Dominik developed software for small and medium-sized companies on a freelance basis.
Dominik earned an M.B.A., with distinction, from INSEAD in France and Singapore and studied at the University of Münster, Germany, and at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid obtaining a dual diploma degree in mathematics and computer science.
Tobias Borkowski
Tobias is a Managing Director in H.I.G.'s London office and member of the European Middle Market LBO team, where he is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Tobias co-led the private equity investment operations of a well known family office in London. Before that, he was a Principal at Rhône Group, a global private equity firm, where he focused on a diverse range of investments, including leveraged buy-outs and corporate carve-outs, across several industries and geographies. He started his career in M&A with Citigroup in London.
Tobias earned a B.A. from International School of Management, Dortmund, Germany.
Olivier Boyadjian
Olivier Boyadjian, Geschäftsführer, Frankreich. Olivier leitet die Geschäfte der H.I.G. in Frankreich. Vor seinem Wechsel zur H.I.G. war er Leiter der Investitionsabteilung von CDC Capital Investissement und verwaltete ein Kapital von über 700Millionen Euro. Bei CDC stand er an der Spitze einer Reihe von erfolgreichen Private-Equity-Investitionen in Frankreich.
Davor war Olivier bei der Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) als Leiter der Abteilung Leverage Finance in Frankreich tätig, wo er für die Finanzierung von zahlreichen Private-Equity-Transaktionen verantwortlich war.
Olivier schloss zunächst das CNAM in Paris mit einem MA in Gesellschaftsrecht ab und erhielt dann einen weiteren MA in Wirtschaft von der Universität Lyon.
Andrea Cervesato
Andrea is a Director in H.I.G. Capital's Milan office, where he focuses on LBO and growth equity investments across a range of industries. Andrea has responsibility for all aspects of the investment process, and sits on the board of several H.I.G. portfolio companies.
Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital in 2014, Andrea worked at Boston Consulting Group, with a specific focus on the Industrial goods sector, working on profitability and growth projects. Andrea also worked in the corporate finance department of PwC, focusing on M&A transactions in the mid-sized Italian market.
Andrea graduated in Economics and Business Administration at Bocconi University in Milan.
Antonin Champagne
Antonin is a Director in H.I.G. Capital’s Paris office where he focuses on business services and industrials. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Antonin worked at Roland Berger for 6 years where he advised a wide array of clients on strategic and operational initiatives.
Antonin graduated with an MSc in Business from HEC, Paris and an MSc in Economics from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
Alessandro Correnti
Alessandro is a Director in the London office of H.I.G.’s Bayside Capital, where he focuses on corporate stressed and distressed credit and special situations in Europe. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, from origination and research, to structuring, execution and portfolio monitoring.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Alessandro worked in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse in London, where he advised clients on M&A, equity and debt transactions, primarily in the transport and logistics and business services sectors.
Alessandro earned his BSc in Economics and Finance and his MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan, studying also at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.
José María de León
José Mª de León is a Principal of H.I.G. Capital based in Spain. He focuses on growth, LBO and special situations investments in the Iberian Peninsula.
Before joining H.I.G., he worked at Gala Capital Partners, a leading Spanish Mid-Market Private Equity firm, completing several transactions in a diverse range of industries and situations.
José Mª holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
Borja de Parias
Borja de Parias, Principal, Spain. Before joining H.I.G., Borja worked at Houlihan Lokey (Special Situations team) covering the Iberian market and completing several transactions in a diverse range of industries. Borja began his career at Morgan Stanley in London.
Borja graduated from ICADE (Madrid) and Northeastern University (Boston) in International Business.
Emeric Déramaux
Emeric Déramaux is a Director of H.I.G. based in the Paris office. Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2016, he worked as a Principal in the private equity team of the strategy consulting firm Roland Berger. Previously, Emeric was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris and New York.
Emeric graduated with an MSc in Finance from ESCP Europe Business School (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris).
Richard Dunn
Richard is a Director in H.I.G. Europe’s London office and focuses on leveraged buy-out opportunities across a range of industries, including Business Services and Healthcare. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Before joining H.I.G., Richard was a member of the deal team at Terra Firma Capital Partners and, prior to that, started his career at Rothschild & Co.
Richard obtained a First Class BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics.
Stefano Giambelli
Stefano is a Managing Director in the European Middle Market team in London and is responsible for covering the Italian market as well as Consumer investments across Europe.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Stefano was a partner and founding member of Amlon Capital, an investment vehicle focused on consumer goods and retail. Prior to Amlon Capital, Stefano worked at Apax Partners and BC Partners in London and Milan. He started his career in investment banking at Citigroup and Merrill Lynch in London.
Stefano holds a degree from the Bocconi University in Milan and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Giovanni Guglielmi
Giovanni is a Managing Director in H.I.G.’s Milan office, and is responsible for the whole investment process from deal origination, transaction structuring and negotiation, to post-closing portfolio company management.
Giovanni has over 15 years of experience of private equity, mostly gained while at Synergo, a private equity firm focused on mid-market investments. While at Synergo, Giovanni, lately as a Partner, completed a number of buyouts and growth capital investments across a wide range of industries including business services, industrial manufacturing, healthcare, and information technology.
Giovanni earned a Master of Science, summa cum laude, in Corporate Finance and an undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in Business Administration from Bocconi University.
Bernardo Guimaraes
Bernardo is a Director in H.I.G. Capital’s London office and a member of the European Middle Market LBO team, where he focuses on investments across a range of industries.
Prior to joining H.I.G. he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. based in London, where he advised companies in their transformation and value-creation journeys. He also supported a number of Private Equity transactions in Europe. He started his career at Goldman Sachs in London.
Bernardo holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a MSc in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico.
John Harper
John is a Managing Director and Head of the LBO Fund’s London team, responsible for leading investments in the UK, Ireland, Holland and the Nordic region. He has 26 years’ experience of mid-market private equity investing.
John started his career at HSBC Private Equity in London and Düsseldorf and subsequently held senior positions at Duke Street and LDC. Prior to joining H.I.G., he was a Partner at Inflexion. John has originated, transacted and exited numerous investments across sectors including financial and business services, manufacturing, healthcare, IT and consumer and leisure.
John speaks German and French and holds a BA in Modern Languages from Durham University.
Johannes Huttunen
Johannes Huttunen is a Principal in our London office, covering growth equity, leveraged buy-out and distressed investments across the United Kingdom and the Nordic region.
Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2014, Johannes worked at Silverfleet Capital, a pan-European mid-market private equity fund, where he focused on investments in the UK and Nordic region. Previously, he was at European Capital, working on UK buyouts, and in the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank in London, concentrating on Mergers & Acquisitions.
Johannes obtained a First Class BSc Honours degree in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.
Rohin Jain
Rohin is a Managing Director in H.I.G.’s London office. He is responsible for all key aspects of the private investment transaction process including deal origination, transaction structuring and negotiating, and post-closing portfolio company oversight. Rohin is a member of the Investment Committee of the Europe Middle Market fund.
Rohin has over 15 years of experience in Private Equity covering a wide range of sectors, regions and investment strategies. Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2020, he lead the Healthcare Sector Team at Triton Partners. Prior to that, he worked at Mistral Equity Partners and UBS Investment Bank.
Rohin has a BScE and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Philipp Kalveram
Philipp is a Director in H.I.G. Europe’s Hamburg office, where he focuses on private equity and growth equity investments, particularly in the industrials, healthcare, and TMT sectors. Philipp is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Philipp has worked with McKinsey & company as a Senior Engagement Manager in private equity and strategy consulting for eight years where he advised various international corporations and private equity funds in strategy development, operational excellence, and M&A transactions.
Philipp earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in New York City and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and business law from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
Holger Kleingarn
Holger Kleingarn ist Managing Director und Head of Germany und arbeitet seit mehr als fünfzehn Jahren im Private Equity. Sein Schwerpunkt liegt auf Buy-Outs, Wachstumsinvestitionen und Turnarounds von Mittelstandsunternehmen innerhalb Europas mit Fokus auf die deutschsprachigen Länder.
Vor seiner Zeit bei H.I.G. war Holger Partner bei der in London ansässigen Palamon Capital, einem Private Equity-Unternehmen, das sich auf mittelständische Unternehmen in Europa fokussiert. Zuvor leitete Holger als CEO den MBO eines mittelständischen Softwareunternehmens. Er startete seine Karriere bei den Managementberatungen Bain & Company und Roland Berger, zuletzt als Partner und Mitglied des Managementteams Financial Services.
Holger hat an der Universität der Bundeswehr München promoviert und erwarb einen Studienabschluss als Diplom-Kaufmann an der Universität Hamburg.
Christian Kraul-von Renner
Christian Kraul-von Renner ist Managing Director im Hamburger Büro. Vor seinem Eintritt bei H.I.G. Ende 2007 war Herr Kraul-von Renner mehr als vier Jahre in der Unternehmensberatung tätig.
Die letzten drei Jahre davon verbrachte er bei L.E.K. Consulting in München und London, wo er zahlreiche Private Equity-Transaktionen im Small und Midcap-Segment begleitete. Darüber hinaus hat er mehrere namhafte Corporates bei der Durchführung von Portfolio-Analysen und bei der Implementierung von Wachstumsstrategien unterstützt.
Herr Kraul-von Renner hat an der Universität in Hamburg einen Abschluss als Diplom-Kaufmann erworben und studienbegleitend über ein Jahr in New York und London gearbeitet.
Raffaele Legnani
Raffaele Legnani, Managing Director, heads up H.I.G.'s activities in Italy. Raffaele has been investing in the Italian private equity market since 1996.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Raffaele was founding partner of Atlantis Partners in Milan, the leading independent institutional investment firm focused on Italian mid-size companies in Special Situations. Before that, Raffaele has successfully invested in a significant number of buyout transactions, both directly and through specialized private equity funds (the London based Stellican and the US based Wexford Management) serving as operating board member for several portfolio companies. Previously, Raffaele worked in investment banking for Goldman Sachs in London.
Raffaele graduated with honors in Finance and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
Stephan Madsen
Stephan is a Managing Director in the European Middle Market team based in the London and is responsible for covering the Nordic region. Stephan is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Stephan has over 12 years of private equity experience across a broad range of industries including healthcare, business services, industrials and consumer.
Before joining H.I.G., Stephan was a Managing Director at BC Partners. Prior to that, Stephan worked at IK Partners. He started his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
Stephan earned his MSc and BSc from Copenhagen Business School.
Gian Matteo Franzoia
Gian Matteo Franzoia is a Director in H.I.G. Europe’s private equity team and is based in the Milan office, where he focuses on all aspects of the investment process including origination, deal structuring and execution, financing and post-closing organic and inorganic value creation initiatives.
Gian Matteo has 5 of experience in a broad range of industries with particular focus on the industrial and ICT sectors. Prior to joining H.I.G., Gian Matteo worked for Bain & Company where he focused on supporting the design and implementation of strategic initiatives for international clients.
Gian Matteo earned his undergraduate degree and Master of Science degree at Bocconi University.
Alastair Mills
Alastair Mills ist als Managing Director bei H.I.G. Capital in London tätig und dort sowohl für Private Equity als auch für Distressed Investments zuständig. Vor seinem Eintritt bei H.I.G. Capital arbeitete Herr Mills bei Gresham LLP, wo er als Partner im Londoner Investment-Team für Growth Buy-Outs und Buy-and-Build-Transaktionen im Segment kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen in Großbritannien verantwortlich war.
Zuvor war Herr Mills für die britischen Private Equity Teams der Royal Bank of Scotland und Bridgepoint Capital tätig, und insgesamt verfügt er über mehr als neunzehn Jahre Erfahrung im Private Equity-Geschäft. Sami Mnaymneh
Sami Mnaymneh ist Gründer und Co-CEO von H.I.G. Capital. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 1993 hat er die Entwicklung des Unternehmens maßgeblich gesteuert und zeichnet für sämtliche durch H.I.G. eingegangene Kapitalverpflichtungen verantwortlich. Sami ist derzeit Mitglied des Board of Columbia College und des Dean's Council der Harvard Law School.
Vor H.I.G. war Herr Mnaymneh Managing Director bei The Blackstone Group in New York und Vice Präsident bei Morgan Stanley & Co. Während seines beruflichen Werdegangs hat Herr Mnaymneh mehr als 75 Transaktionen mit einem Gesamtwert von über US$ 10 Milliarden geleitet und erfolgreich in Unternehmen unterschiedlichster Branchen investiert. Derzeit ist er Mitglied des Beirates zahlreicher Portfoliogesellschaften von H.I.G.
Er studierte an der Columbia University und erwarb anschließend einen J.D. der Harvard Law School sowie einen M.B.A. der Harvard Business School.
Diego Modonesi
Diego is a Director in H.I.G. Capital’s London office and member of the European Middle Market LBO team, where he focuses on investments across a range of industries and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Diego worked at Oaktree Capital Management, focusing on control and special situation investments in Europe. He began his career in M&A with UBS in London.
Diego holds a B.A. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
Johannes Natterer
Dr. Johannes Natterer ist Principal im London Büro. Herr Natterer hat seinen beruflichen Werdegang bei der Hoechst AG begonnen, wo er zuletzt als Betriebsleiter und Six Sigma Black Belt tätig war. Anschließend arbeitete Herr Natterer als Projektleiter bei McKinsey & Company und arbeitete an Projekten in den Industrien Automotive, Energie, Chemie sowie im öffentlichen Sektor. Unmittelbar vor seiner Tätigkeit bei H.I.G. leitete Herr Natterer bei der Degussa AG eine Initiative zur weltweiten Optimierung der Produktionsstandorte. Herr Natterer ist aufgrund seines beruflichen Werdegangs ein Spezialist für Themen der operativen Optimierung sowie der Restrukturierung. Johannes Natterer hat in physikalischer Chemie an der Universität Bonn promoviert, hat einen Abschluss als Diplom-Chemiker von der TU Berlin und hat zudem in Berkeley und in Bayreuth studiert.
Markus Noe-Nordberg
Markus is a Managing Director and Head of the European Middle Market LBO Fund. He has 30 years of experience in finance and leveraged buyouts.
Prior to joining H.I.G., he was a partner and founding member of Pamplona Capital where he led a number of successful investments. Prior to Pamplona, Markus was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and was co-head of the financial sponsors group in London. He started his career in mergers and acquisitions with Merrill Lynch in New York.
Markus graduated with honors with an MA degree in Economics from Northwestern University.
Pierre-André Olive
Pierre-André is a Director in the European Middle Market LBO team where he focuses on investments across a range of industries and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., he was with Pamplona Capital Management, a global private equity firm, where he worked on several corporate investments across industries and in Western Europe. Pierre-André started his career with the TMT Investment Banking team at J.P. Morgan in London.
Pierre-André holds a Master of Science in Management (MSc) from EMLyon Business School in France.
Thomas Petersen
Thomas is a Director in H.I.G. Capital’s Hamburg office and a member of the European Middle Market LBO team where he focuses on investments across a range of industries and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Thomas worked at Triton Partners where he focused on buy-outs in the DACH region across industries. Before that, he worked as a Consultant at BCG and as an Associate in the M&A department of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London.
Thomas holds a MSc degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.
Klaas Reineke
Dr. Klaas Reineke ist Managing Director im Hamburger Büro von H.I.G. Vor seinem Eintritt bei H.I.G. war Klaas Reineke zuletzt mehrere Jahre als Director bei KPMG Restructuring Advisory in München tätig, wo er mittelständische Unternehmen bei der Bewältigung von Krisensituationen unterstützte und eine Reihe von Private Equity-Transaktionen begleitete. Davor arbeitete Herr Reineke mehrere Jahre als Projektleiter bei McKinsey & Company in Berlin und Singapur, wo er zahlreiche Projekte für namhafte Corporates und Finanzinvestoren in den Bereichen der Strategieentwicklung sowie der Konzeption und Umsetzung operativer Verbesserungsprogramme leitete. Klaas Reineke hat an der Universität Freiburg (Schweiz) ein Lizentiat in Betriebswirtschaftslehre sowie ein Diplom in Journalistik erworben und anschließend im Fach BWL promoviert. Herr Reineke spricht fließend Englisch und Französisch.
Rick Rosen
Rick is Co-President of H.I.G. Capital with over twenty-five years of private equity and M&A experience. In his current position, along with Brian Schwartz, he directs the day-to-day operations of the firm and sits on the investment committees for all H.I.G. funds.
Since joining H.I.G. in 1998, he has been involved in all aspects of the investment process; and has held leadership positions in several of the firm’s funds.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Rick worked at General Electric Company and GE Capital. As part of the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team, he coordinated a variety of strategic acquisitions in the financial services, plastics, medical systems, electronics, and aerospace industries. Previously, Rick was a member of the GE Corporate Finance Staff, where he helped design and implement improved business strategies and operating processes for GE Capital business units.
Rick received his undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University and earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Brian Schwartz
Brian is Co-President of H.I.G. Capital. He joined the firm in 1994. In his current position, along with Rick Rosen, he directs the day-to-day operations of the firm and sits on the investment committees for all H.I.G. funds.
Since joining H.I.G. in 1994, Brian held a number of leadership positions at the firm.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Brian worked in PepsiCo’s strategic planning group. His responsibilities included managing strategic acquisitions for PepsiCo and evaluating new business opportunities. Brian began his career with the investment banking firm of Dillon, Read and Co. where he split his time between the corporate finance group and the private equity funds, Saratoga Partners and Yorktown Partners.
Brian earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.S. with honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
Fritz Simons
Fritz is a Director at H.I.G. Capital and is based in the Hamburg office, where he focuses on private equity and growth equity investments particularly in the business services, TMT and industrials sectors. Fritz is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Fritz was Co-Founder of a global venture backed by Rocket Internet and worked in business development roles across numerous e-commerce companies based out of
Berlin, Germany.
Fritz earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an MA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.
Tony Tamer
Tony Tamer ist Gründer und Co-CEO von H.I.G. Capital. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 1993 hat er die Entwicklung des Unternehmens maßgeblich gesteuert und zeichnet für sämtliche durch H.I.G. eingegangene Kapitalverpflichtungen verantwortlich. Tony hat zahlreiche erfolgreiche Investments von H.I.G. sowohl als MBOs als auch im Bereich von Wachstumskapital geleitet. Er verfügt über intensive Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit und in der Leitung von Early Stage- und mittelständischen Unternehmen. Tony ist Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats verschiedener Portfoliounternehmen von H.I.G. Zudem ist er zurzeit Mitglied des Dean's Council der Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
Vor H.I.G. war Tony Partner bei Bain & Company, wo er Business Unit und Betriebsstrategien entwickelte, Produktivitätssteigerungs-Initiativen implementierte und Erwerb und Veräußerungs-Aktivitäten für eine Reihe von Fortune 500-Kunden führte. Tony hat umfassende Betriebserfahrung. Er hatte Marketing-, Engineering und Fertigungs-Positionen bei Hewlett-Packard und Sprint Corporation inne.
Tony hat einen MBA von der Harvard Business School und einen Master-Abschluss in Elektrotechnik von der Stanford University. Sein Bachelor-Abschluss ist von der Rutgers University.
Adam Taylor
Adam is a Principal in H.I.G.’s London office, covering growth equity, leveraged buy-out and distressed investments across the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Adam is responsible for all aspects of the investment process.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Adam worked for Credit Suisse’s M&A Group in New York City and for Booz & Company in their London office.
Adam earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an MEng in Engineering Science from Oxford University.
Alexander Thorn
Alex is a private equity Principal based in H.I.G.'s Miami office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and implementation of post-closing growth, operational and add-on acquisition strategies. With nearly a decade of private equity experience, Alex has made investments across a wide range of industries including business services, industrials, technology and consumer/retail in both the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Alex worked at Harvest Partners, a mid-market private equity firm, and at BHI Energy, where he led a variety of strategic initiatives. He began his career in M&A at Wells Fargo Securities.
Alex earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School and his undergraduate degree cum laude from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Operations Research & Financial Engineering.
